Depends how you drive it - I can get that in my VXR commuting from Cannock to Birmingham everyday on the M6 in traffic!

You'd be suprised. To and from Uni & work, I'd be sitting at 70mph in rush hour. Doesn't sound fast, but 'cause of lorries etc, you're continuously in the fast lane, up peoples asses, with people up your ass
Anyway, drop it down to 60mph and you're in the slow lane, with pretty much lorries to contend with. Find a break in the traffic, then foot down to get by them.
I find it much much more relaxing. I get to and from work chilled out, and not stressed to the eye balls. Weirdly, it barely increases my journey time.

If my calcs are correct I got like 60mpg for a 175 mile trip, 90 of it motorway, at least 70 on most of it, then loads of country lanes.
Plus managed to get lost on the motorway... Bonus
Numberwang!
