on the mrs's car, the throttle pedles stiff as hell...
the pedal itself is free - if i take the cable off..
the cable is free - if its disconnected both ends.
the throttle butterfly seems free???

Usually the cable that gets gunked up but if thats free as well I dont know

well, the cable seems to slide fine when i disconnect it from the TB and the pedal.

i know the 12v's and 16v's are always a bit stiffer, but i cant see why.

well turn the bit where the cable ends on the throttle body and just turn it back and forth does it feel stiff ? Its the black bean shaped thing btw

doesnt feel too tight, but then again i havent got annother to compare it agaist lol.

its ok part way down, then it gets stiffer at approx halfway down..

has it got a 2stage spring?...
