I used to use it as a kid before footy matches, just been reading it does next to nothing apart from a bit of psychologicalness but think i might get some just for the smell, used to love it.

Yeah I always used to use it, loved the smell of it

And dubbin on my boots - doubt it ever did anything but made them look shiney

Dubbin, i used to use that shite too, think that stuff actually worked though stopped water soaking in. Bet the youths of today arn't sticking dubbin on their tatty plastic boot efforts.
