Im thinking bout turboing my corsa 1.6 sport

has anyone done this?

if so

is their a Corsa B turbo Kit or is it all hand made?

what mountains would I be up against?

all in all whats really involved.....

for the price of this i wud just have a let put in

ya have to fuck abart buy forged piston need a manifold need tomake an oil return from turbo to sump ect

can be done but as said alot of work.
im currently looking into it and deciding whether be worth it or not.

i ve thought bout a LET but thought that i want something that bit different if u get me work side of things im more than happy to give it ago

theirs a corsa 1.4 on PH for sale thats been turbo'd!!! woop woop

courtney did a 1.6 8v turbo engine but i personally have never seen a 16v turbo

im sure the mount's are not the same, otherwise, chris astley wouldn't of had to fabricate the mount's on the shell like he did in his nova?

using a nova engine mount yes...

bottom's all bolt up the same


so if a corsa mount fitted the vxr engine, that would mean a nova mount would, yes it doesn't as chris had to do loads of fabrication?

I will soon have a small block turbo.. I know of a place that will make a tubilar manifold to suit a turbo for a smallblock. price is 550 or 650 with external wastegate. I think... then you still gota get pistons ect but dave does them for a good price

When I said mounts, I meant the gearbox side mount and rear engine/gearbox mount.

The drivers side mount would need to be made up as shown above, not difficult though.

vxr engines are easy to fit. its just the money thats the problem

u could let a corsa for 1900ish

I dont know if any one know him but hes called dangourouse danny works near me he has the fastest 2 wheel drive car in uk its a tigra let he built my mate a let and onli charges him 2300
