just a thought, nothing booked....

How much interest would there be in a Corsa (maybe corsa only if no's permit) only trackday?

We'd need about 30-40 cars, 30 minimum really, at £65 a car (2nd drivers and passengers are free) for a 2hr evening session on track.

Any interest?

Would like a go on track but not sure my cars suitable!!

Golf or Mini, both with oversize wheels & stiff suspension, whats going to be better?

a lot of folk that do trackdays just use normal road cars / normal modified road cars... so just lowered susp, bigger wheels etc.

You dont need a full on track car to take part

Do you just pay per car aye? When would you be thinking of?

Would probably just take mine & abuse it a bit. Maybe try to pick up some 16's for cheap as track wheels.

also just noticed u need 30-40 cars. seen these threads struggle to attract that much attention but i bet theres at least 50 guys reading this thread and saying they would love to do it but have never done so before! well this is the ideal opportunity to give it a go. short session hopefully all one make so pretty even, and hopefully a friendly bunch so come on guys get the finger oot! lol take the plunge!

its not hard to get enough numbers outwith here Just trying to organise something bar a stupid meet in a carpark

RCS - crail has put its prices up a lot. We did 3 o4 dates there last year, but none so far this year.

Crail is an option though if it suits... Would be a sunday eve after a crail thrash.

On our days its self scrutineering.... i,e we thing you are mature and sensible enough to look after your own safety.

If your car is seen to be dangerous to you or others it'll be black flagged
