im ok on it as ive been learning the basics over the last year but don't have a bloody clue how to make an L shaped circular section.

need to loft it in 3 plans!

so on the front plane, draw the circle u need then create a plane that runs parallell with this to whatever distance you need then angle that plan 45degree. on that plan then draw the circle with same diameter and then loft between the 2! then repeat process!

You dont loft parts like that. Use the sweep profile function, read the help if you dont know how to do it because its a fantastic help file
