Just phoned for a quote on a mk3 golf gti. Asked my age, no claims bonus and what car. Then said £2100 fully comp or £1800 third party
Load of bollocks tbh, was on the phone a few minutes. Admiral gave me a quote a few days ago of £940 fully comp
Didnt even ask any other details, if I wanted to add a driver, where the car was kept...First impressions? load of shite

And brent acre wouldnt even give me a quote, cause iv been passed my test for 1 year, 11 months. A few days short of being passed 2 years

I'm having similliar problems, Adrian Flux asked me what car, how old and said won't be able to give you a cheap enough quote and instantly put me through to some third party insurance people to help find someone, waste of time
Adrian Flux - Unhelpful
HIC - Silly price (current insurer, and been with them for 3yrs now)
Quinn Direct - Silly price
Brentacre - About to try now
These are for the TT, cheapest so far is Direct Line!

My first impressions of them were shit, they will be a last resort. Will try again tomorrow and see if I get someone more helpful

some places arent good for certain cars, why get so emotional about it? They cant cater for evereyone, just go elsewhere...
Flux where brilliant for me for 4/5years im now wtih elephant as they were the cheapest, i lost no sleep. I just moved insurers

HIC and FLux are the same sister company so use the same system if you run with one of them they wont run you on there system

Flux don't touch my postcode on any car. They said no after about 2 minutes, put me through to some other people who also said no, put me back through the Flux again, it was then I got bored and went elsewhere.
