Opps just took a roundabout at about 40 in the wet the car went straight on into the curb, up onto the mud and I just managed to drive it off and home. The 3 spoke sport alloy has a big chunk out of it and the wheel is pushed back into the arch by about an inch or two. there's also a wobble in the steering wheel. Any one had a similar bump? was just wondering what its gonna cost to fix lol

Yea was stupid I wasn't thinking bit pissed off. Its not good to drive when your pissed off lol. There doesn't appear to be any body damage the front wheel took all the shock then it bounced up the curb.

measure the gap between the wheel and the arch on the good side, then measure the side you hit and see how much it's out by.i'd try changing the bottom arm and maybe the tie rod,see if that sort's it out.if not it may have pulled the chassis back where the bottom arm bolt's in and will need putting on a jig.

Hmm bottom ball joint bent back doesn't sound to serious cool. New wheels would be nice but I'm on a tight budget and the 14s have got nearly new perelli p6000 which are excellent in the wet.....apart from today of course doh!

RE Planted Corsa. The wings back about 4mm . Replaced strut, tie bar, hub. Had tracking looked at They weren't the most helpful blokes ever which is strange because they are usually ok, kept going on about it not going on the ramp because its to low wasn't a problem 3 months ago. Never mind its not to bad, steering still out a few mm but feels different. I managed to bend the 3 month old Spax strut so its running on old stock dampers with lowering springs.....Not sure what to do next.

You ought to learn your lesson about approaching roundabouts at speed from that. It's bloody annoying when you are a) on a roundabout and some knob comes onto it going at warp speed b) trying to get onto a roundabout and you can't because everyone is testing thier cars turning performance by seeing how fast they can get round it.

exact same thing happened to me a year ago, except i was cut up abit by a sod in the inside lane. hit the kerb, struggled to drive it home. the alloy wheel had hit the inner wing and pushed the whole body of the car round. so the passenger door was pushed back, and the front of the car (inc front bumper) had been dragged round. suspension and bottom arm was also bent. had to put the car on a jig to fix.

same happend to mine, really wasnt worth fixing in the end! we did most of it but wing obviously still wasnt back to normal and car was still bent needed to go on a jig tbf.
