Right im wanting to XE the corsa, so decided to get things prepped up...2 litre brakes are first...but also considering a rear disc conversion...more for looks than anything here...
How can i go about this?
whats the options calibra, cavy, astra rear beam? or corsa C SRi any good?
is the full rear beam needed to be replaced? how do i do it???

so whats the point of spending the money
Brakes are there to stop you faster not to look good
Spend the money on 4 pots for the front.

I had it, with V6 up front. Vastly improved brake feel and overall braking distance.
RE skidding out, I removed the torsion spring (spring that deterimes how much weight is in the car thus how much move pressure to rear brakes). It supposed to be an MOT failure, but every year I informed the MOT tester about the brake setup change and how it actually stopped the rear brake issues. However, I also had no rear seats so wasn't gonn carry passangers
Setup. 1 nova short brake cable, and if memory recalls, the other one uses the corsa line (THINK!!!).
Removed rear drums so beam was exposed, we lined up 2 bolt holes, and Lee redrilled 2 more and attached astra rear setup.
You can weld it as well, but I didn't in case I wanted to take it off/change things at any point.
And yes, they look far far FAR better, ignore the haters
But also, the advise of a good set of 4 pots up front would be the first option (first), but you can do the rear disc beam for £50 as you can get the brakes from the scrappers.
Just needs a good cleanup and paint. Which they got
