what sump fits this engine!! iv looked everywhere and no one seems to have it. is it the same as the x14xe?

local breakers will surly have one. thats where i got mine from after a slight incident with a speed bump lol

Yeah its the same as the X14XE. there are 2 types, alloy and steel. alloy ones are a lot thicker and IMO are easier to seal because they have a rubber o ring instead of a cork gasket.

Its straight forward yeah, just need to take the exhaust downpipe off then unbolt the sump. sometimes they're normal bolts, sometimes they're E-torx. Make sure you get the 2 out which are down slots next to the gearbox though because they aren't obvious.
And if you go for a different kind of sump you might need slightly different length bolts to match it

All small block 16v's have alloy sumps.
The old steel/iron crap was on small block 8v's
