Just had a look online and its around £100 for a car and two people. Then around £20 for each passenger. Ferry takes 2hrs 30 from liverpool.

Also checked accommodation and it would be £63 for a twin room

So if you got 5 in the car it would be £32 each. (Unless you didn't go by car, which would be £17.50)(

So travel and a night there would cost £63.50 per person.

I reckon two cars and ten people would be funny as hell.....

There's no point taking cars. On foot is far cheaper and means you'll see more while you're walking around looking at stuff not worrying where to park.

Park somewhere secure? No idea of cost.
Ticket for ferry (return) - £17.50
Night there in a 3* hotel (meaning you could get cheaper) £63

Cost of transport & accommodation = £49

You could always take your car on the ferry Adam.

I'm with Ian in the respect you can exerience more, not worry about parking your car where it's going to be safe and not have to worry about how much you have drunk.

If we're taking cars, i'd rather jump in a car with someone and give them some fuel and ferry money. For the reasons, i need my car for work and can do without the hassel of getting it repaired and the fact that i drive around all week and it's not something i want to do at the weekend.

I'm not being a knob here, i just dislike driving now

I'm going there on 10 October for a family wedding weekend.

Ferry costs £142 for a car + 2 return, foot passenger is around £35 return.

To fly from Liverpool is about £50.

We got a good deal on a hotel as we have booked lots of rooms at the same time. If you are thinking of staying over then that might be an idea and get a bit of discount.

Also, I am booked into the Ascot Hotel and am sharing a twin room with my cousin. Because we booked in a group the twin room is costing us £50 a night (£25 each).

However, they don't take stag or hen parties, so you'll have to think of a reason why you are all over there.
