Just wondering what peoples age, job/career and aims are in regards to earning a living.

I'm 23
IT Support Analyst

Don't really know what career I want. I'm only in my current job for the money to be honest! Quite like the idea of managing people/service but would love to be my own boss.

Manage the family business (everything on the business side of things)
Will eventually employ the people to do this job for me and I'll just oversee things, that will allow me to set up on my own.

Was in IT Support, made redundant.

Currently just setting up office networks for people through word of mouth between interviews and finding a new job.

Ideally I want to own my own business, which involves web design, networking, it support and somehow bring photography into it

Life day

25
Market research consultant

I have been working for a relatively new small business for 8ish months after getting fired from my old job and being out of workj for 6 months, I used to work with the blokes who set the company I am working for now up. They were just waiting to get bigger until they could offer me a job. We have grown majorly this year and have gone from 3 of us to 9 in 6 months we have set biggish financial targets and are just about to get premises and I'm hoping that I will be seeing the financial benefit in the months and years to come. I'm on an ok salary considering I basically had fucked my life up until they took me on I should quite comfortably be on £35 in the next year or so, I enjoy working for an SME as well as working in the industry I do because it's so vaired.

20 Student, studying Marketing & Media Practice.

Hope to go into advertising, PR, sales, branding, that kind of thing.

On my graduation job, I'm prepared to start at the bottom, but would hope on earning about £18k/year. Then work my way up earning more and more, see where it takes me. I'm not going to work for just the money if it means shit home life etc.

I would love to run my own businesses though
