I don't really think John Terry would be ideal, for two reasons, defenders aren't attack minded and it would mean John Terry would get picked every game, and he's so overrated it's untrue.

Rio deserves a place in the team at the minute, wouldn't be as bad as Terry getting it, there are better potential centre-back partnerships, I still would like Carragher to come back. I sometimes wish I was a part English because I find myself taking more of an interest in what happens to England than Brazil recently mainly because England can improve a hell of a lot more.

Abviously im biased but I do think Rio would do a good job as captain.

Also think Gerrard would be as he's a very passionate player and could help to fire the players up.
