Right the gf's looking at getting a Ford fiesta Zetec 1.25, were going to look at one tommrow, whats the main things to look out for on these, i have seen "lil_g"'s post but didnt want to hijack, so made my own up, what are the main concerns?
Also the bloke whos selling it has just brought another car and got the Fiesta up for Ł1400, what would you offer him? Sale will be a cash sale!

just point out everything that the car hasnt got that you were hoping for, eg... AC, say you were expecting that, look for burns inside, rust by the boot hindges, listen to the engine, should tap continuesly, dont mention bits about the car that you like, then offer him 1000 cash in hand,
i went with my mate to buy a zetec 1.25 off of a dealer, he was selling it at 1500 and we got it for 1100!

 , some have sunroofs and some have air con, so either one she aitn fussed, but yh will check them things  thanks

thats how we got my friends one so cheap, his had aircon but we were saying we would prefer one with a sunroof... for 1100 he taxed it for a month, MOT'd it and valeted the whole car and gave him a years warranty..... we pushed the car dealer quite far i think lol!

99% of spoilers on the MK5 blistered. It was down to poor materials used in the spoiler. Mine was re-painted twice and it still came back.
