Scholes is an idiot, like they said on commentary, means he'll miss Champs League games now apparently.

He'll only miss one, but yes he is an idiot
Zenit look like a good side, the 11/2 for them to win their group and 5/4 for them to qualify wont stay around for long, i think either Juve or Real aren't going to qualify from there group

There is no point of this game at all, it's making a mockery of the Champions League. Mind you Man Utd didn't put on a show anyway so it's not as if you cansay Zenit deserve it, nor did they earn the right to play them.

Arshavin looked very impressive from the first 15 mins I saw of the 2nd half

I've found Tymoshchuk to be impressive in the few games I've seen of him. And Danny was pretty good tonight too.

He is quality, has the ability to dictate games on his own!

Tymoshchuk sounds like a native Indian or something

I watched most of the first half, Nani, was awful.
I like the one off cups, think they should be taken more seriously, especially the world one.

On a postive, how awesome was Tevez! Looked absolute quality. When he ran down wing, across edge of pitch and crossed it in

Tevez gives you that work rate every game even if it's for a club he doesn't want to stay at, I remember not long ago people comparing his and Rooney's efforts.
Fair enough Rooney does work hard.... when he feels like it.

They are very similar. Both on a mission every game. Tevez seems to want it more though.

Not every game for the boy Wayne though, great desire when he wants it, but a referee's decision can ruin his whole game in an instant or a defender making a late tackle etc....
For me Rooney is a superstar that hasn't arrived yet, he has the potential and every season I'm waiting to see it, but something gets in his way.

Yeah, you have a point. His temper lets him down.

The age old Rooney argument
Every manager would rather have him in their team rather than against put it that way. He scores a lot of goals for a guy that's not a conventional striker and anything he lacks he makes up for in channeled aggression!

I've liked United ever since the days of Solksjaer, Yorke, Cole and Sheringham up front
Bit of a contradiction really seeing as my English team are Liverpool

You're spot on with that, very good comment
I wasn't a big fan of Tevez but in pre-season and this season he has improved no end, even to the point where as now i would have him in the team before Rooney, i think rooney is crying outfor a target man to play off
I think Tevez looks like he is alot fitter this season also, not pulling a bus anymore

I do Marc, I like Rooney, Tevez, SAF, the only thing I dislike about Man Utd is Neville, I really don't like the guy.
I just think Rooney needs to do it on the international stage more instead of settling for scoring 19 goals against the likes of Derby etc.....

Neville needs to piss off and retire tbh, even be a coach or assistant manager but he isnt good enough anymore to play
