my anti virus has run out
is mcafee any good? only £25 from pc world.
or would any generic anti virus do the job? as there are a few at a tenner each.

AVG Free will remove and catch any viruses on your PC.

free version of Avast is currently regarded as the best free anti-virus over AVG 8. Not sure how true that is as i've yet to get a virus, but it's certainly a lot less resource hungry.
