As above,Ive seen a few on XE's and was just wondering if they are the standard yellow 1 thats been painted or are they from a different model??

they come with both as standard...
my old xe came with a black one, but my new one's got a yellow one
they older one's are usually black, and newer yellow

Cheers,need to look into that.
Got told from a Vauxhall parts department guy that they were all yellow.Shows what he knows.

oil caps of old 8v engine's fit, iirc
so keep an eye out for an old nova one etc

Very old 8v's and iirc some of the straight 6's came with metal ones that can be polished

paint it mate, ive done my oil water and washer caps all gloss black. covered each with some rag primer gloss and laquer then put them in the car as it was warm day let it act as an oven. hour or so later paint was rock hard looks much better
