depends on your budget.

how low was yours in the end mate?

mk4_boy- the ride at the moment i think is stupidly stiff, you hit a little bump and the car bounces, its real uncomfortable sometimes but is that just because of the standard shocks?

75mm front
60mm rear

or there abouts

Ride was back breaking after I fitted them, then finally got them set to a nice medium handling / comfort

For the price I rate them

spax rsx coilovers go down 80mm front and are 60mm fixed at rear (spring and shock) but easily can get some custom springs made...

yer realy do need uprated shocks to get the most of the lowering springs..

coilovers would obviously be alot better but still can be abit harsh..

really with coilovers unless you have a decent budget most kits would give a harsh ride. We have a Bilstein PSS9 kit and we would`nt have anything else cos they are so forgiving on the road as well as being awesome on the track. If your thinking about FK coilovers id go for the konigsport kit as they have koni inserts

FK Automotive Silverline X Coilovers
+ Massive lowering with on–car height adjustment
+ Koni dampening adjustment from hard to soft
+ Stainless Steel version of the FK Konigsports
+ FREE Protective Aerosol and C–Spanners

just been looking at these, £495

FK's aint bad. good buy for the money. and they do the job of some serious lowering.

Just make sure you copper grease them up well.

Ild advise Spax or The fk's for your needs and Budget. both are good and have guarantess etc.
