Got a sportex 4" on my 1.0 12v with a remus race tube and it sounds awesome! Looks the part too

my mate seems to think my 1.0l 12v sting has the cat in the manifold so for some reason i cant have a straight through pipe, talking bollocks?

Hes talking rubbish mate Yes the cat is in the manifold but that doesnt stop you changing the centre section for a straight through one. I've done it on mine

The cat is in the manifold but the straight gets rid of the silencer which is on a different part of the system.

Really easy, you might need a reducer though.

Also, to answer you question if you use a remus race tube you dont need a reducer to fit it
