I tried the Tocco out in a shop and found it was quite shiny = slippery. I could see me dropping it / crushing it / losing it far too easily. I dont know how it compares to the iPhone though. Also the touch screen was far too slow for my liking, as said, havent used an iphone though

yh i know what you mean by being slippery etc, its a swine, nearly dropped it once managed to catch it before it fell on the floor when im scrolling through my phone book, if you go too slow, it will go back to the top

I have just ordered the Tocco...
I would have liked the iphone 3G but couldnt be bothered swapping to 02...I have been with Orange for over 5 years so I get a lot of loyalty discount. Also would mean going on a minimum £35 pm contract and forking out £159 for the phone.
My deal was:
Tocco - Free
£20 Tarriff - Includes insurance
600 X-Net mins
600 Texts
Unlimited Calls to Orange Phones
Unlimited data usage - Internet etc
18 month contract
I know I probably could have got more mins elsewhere but I have been with Orange for years and never had a problem with them.

I got the Omnia about three weeks ago, went in the shop yesterday asking where my 8gb card was as I saw the slot, didnt realise it was an internal 8gb with an optional 8gb via the slot.
In all honesty I cant fault the phone.. Its very good to use, isnt too bad without using the little stick that comes with it for the touchscreen, still able to text "fairly" easy with your fingers.. does about everything you want a phone to do and more. Windows 6.1 is spot on, wi-fi is good aswel.
Got it on Orange dolphin35 contract :
- 18month contract.
- £35 for 600mins and unlimited texts.
Pay extra for insurance and for my internet usage as expected but Orange seem okay, they rung me up earlier because I hadnt rung them since Ive had the phone to confirm everythings okay, to put a protective password on my account, to see if I wanted to change any of my contract details and to also give me a magic number.. which is more than I can say o2 done for me in the past, but keeping on topic of the phone, deffo recommend it.

I was waiting around for about a month for it to be released, obviously TV and other reviews hype products up, but in fairness, Im glad I waited around for this phone. Dont think I'd want any other at this moment in time.
