....on Sat. Even though the result was the best possible, we turned up at our matchday pub - and the pub I have been going to since I was 6 and my Dad long before then - and found it had closed down

RIP

No its The Clarence.

We have discussed buying it actually - as would save us a fortune in drinking and parking costs on matchdays anyway

My first 'local' shut down about 4 years ago, the last night we went in we had to take our own beer as they had ran out everyone took souvenirs home such as pictures off the walls etc etc it was pretty much like something out of shameless though and was getting knocked down cos' it was rough and empty!

Nah, although if he had died I'd now be the proud owner of a pub in Liverpool bought with my inheritance

There is a pub that has just shut down near the Hudders ground. I'd absolutley love to buy it and turn it into a proper supporters bar as there isn't one main pub where everyone goes to due to them all being too small. This place is quite big and would be perfect.

Reckon I could make a shed load of money as its in the "Student area" of the Town so would still be busy during the week (especially when the footie was on) I just have the cash to buy it
