cars been playing up recently firstly it was a bit temperamental when starting it would sometimes and wouldnt others so i got another coil pack and it was fine for a while but last night it died again and would not start. ive been and got another coil pack and nothing. it still wont start. ive checked all the connections, wires, etc and nothing out of the ordinary. any idea what it could be?

what engine?

could be anything really.

is the engine management light on?

could possibly be the crankshaft sensor (just a guess)
