hello, does any1 know how difficult it is to change a speedo cable?? is it a specialist job? whats involved in changin it??

steering wheel off, speedo surround off, igntion barrel casing off, then clocks out.
gearbox end:
battery out, header tank out, move some cables out the way and unscrew it, you may not have to take the header tank and battery out depends on wat engine you have and how fiddly you want to make it

i found it was best to actually unscrew the speedo drive aswell cause if u havnt change the speedo cable before it could be very tight,, i couldnt get the leverage
saying that i had to have 2-3 extension bars lol and a (ithink 10mm) socket easyier that way

Elo ther wondering if you could help ive got a corsa SRI with a 20xe lump init and my speedo cables gone jus wonderin if the stadard 1.4 cables is used or they changed it when the engine was converted??? any help would be good
