just look for a 1.6 surely wontbe that much difference in prices/insurance etc.

i stay with them in my x14xe all its got is 4branch manifold striaght thro exhaust and drilled air box there not that fast vts are tho lol

my 1.4 used 2 smash vtr's and all it had was a pipercross and no rear seats, how ever now my cams are fucked and its slow as shit so i bought a 1.6 lol

a 1.4 is 90bhp, i think vtr's are 100bhp? and vtr's are lighter.
The early vtr's (blacktop engines) were only 90bhp, it was the later ones that had 98bhp (silver top). The early ones arn't really that quick they only really have lightnesson there side.

Not a lot, hell - 20valver can dust a VTR and keep up with a TVR for all of 50 pence, he still has change for a packet of chewing gum to stop his breath smelling of the shit he speaks.

The vtr box is actually quite long compared to th vts box so i cant imagine there not being alot in it tbh

200 sx 2 litre 8 valve 800 bhp
