So who have we all got this week then? Aalborg for us, I'd say it should be an easy game seen as though I'd never heard of them before the draw but knowing our luck we'll scrape a draw!

Squad we've took over:

Goalkeepers
Edwin van der Sar
Ben Amos

Defenders
Nemanja Vidic
Rio Ferdinand
John O’Shea
Wes Brown
Patrice Evra
Jonathan Evans
Rafael da Silva

Midfielders
Paul Scholes
Darren Fletcher
Darron Gibson
Ji-Sung Park
Nani
Anderson
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ryan Giggs

Forwards
Carlos Tevez
Wayne Rooney
Dimitar Berbatov

Manchester United Red Wings should win.
Liverpool Lakers should win.
Chelski FCski should win.
Arsenal Shooters is a bit harder to call.

You'll pump Aalborg Marc, they are rubbish.

We'll also get beat, probably by about 3 goals as well

When you compare Rafael and Brown it's plain to see why SAF goes for Rafael, Brown bypasses Ronaldo too much by just launching it anywhere. Berbatov is everything the rest of the squad is not, other than the goals (against a really bad defence that can't mark), he just looks too lazy and that style suited a bad Spurs team with Keane being central, but in a Man Utd team with lots of width it doesn't work so much, SAF will have to come up with something for this season fairly quickly.

Rafael really has been a good buy, and at only 18 I think we can forgive him his mistakes that the commentators like to pick up on, as you say Brown does make a few blunders. I'm not too concerned with Berbatovs laid back approach as oppose to that of Rooneys manic run abouts as if the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney etc are working their socks off I'll forgive Berbatov if he can produce the goals! I agree its not ideally the player you want but it worked for van Nistelrooy and its still working for him at Real Madrid now!

I agree with you Jiz about the Rafael/Brown comment, rafael looks a real star in the making, and as much as i like brown, because he does everything that's asked for him, rafael's a nutter and doesnt stop running, attacking, etc, and he can tackle too, which is good being a defender

All too easy for berbatov tonight, needs to get some goals in the league too though
