cut a short story even shorter..

left door open on car, came to it this morning no radio, no damage to the car at all apart from a scratched dashplate.

so im in need of another radio, i cant be arsed with anything too expensive now.. so i looked at this

it needs to have the line in at the back to allow me to use the ipod.

I looked at the spec of that expecting it to cost quite a lot, then looked it up on caraudidirect - thats cheap! Looks pretty good to me for the money tbh.

That will be pretty good for the bluetooth and external mic - won't be cheap though.

I have a £80 Kenwood headunit. Does WMA and MP3. No aux or other inputs, pretty basic. But it's like 2 years old and never gone wrong. Kenwoods now of similar price seem to have loads of addons etc plus they do quite a nice Bluetooth kit

yea as deano87 said, kenwood, there good for the price of them, i have only seen two of them broken before, and one of them was 6 years old, good headunit for the price

i have a sony cdxmp80 i will do for £85 delivered no offers it is mp3 has line in and 3 sets of rca outs google the spec its a top unit for little money

I got an old Kenwood, got the ipod interface for it so i can use the ipod in the car, controls the ipod and shows all the info on the screen

My last THREE Kenwoods have all broken after a year or two - mainly on the d-mask parts - they just stop working, this includes the one I currently have the front panel can only be had in one postition or it turns itself off so I can't have it down enough to see what the buttons do.

I've just about had enough of Kenwood car audio, gonna look at Alpines although I have seen a very nice Pioneer (DEH-7000) that I might get, it can run my iPod touch and looks pretty handy.

Then I'll try and get some upgrades for the standard speakers for a bit more ooomph.

Had my Alpine 5 years now, would definatley recommend them.
