For my sis?
Her 7yr old clio could really do with getting replaced & she wants some ideas on what to go for? Engine no bigger than 1.2L Petrol. Under £6k & no older than 06 plate.

I suggested a Toyota Yaris T2 1L, you can get 57 plate with less than 10k at motorpoint for like 5.5k...those any good?

Polo looks alright, thought they would be more expensive!!
Aygo is maybe too small, she'll possibly slap me if I suggest she buys one

I had a Nissan Note rental car a few months ago, must say for a car in that class it was very nice. Well worth a look although im not sure on prices but they are very spacious inside and come well equipped.

a 1.2 ibiza would be a snail though probably
if she didnt fancy jap I would reccomend a 1.5 dci clio ( assumin the 1.2 limit was due to insurance?) Surely clio wouldnt be that much more, and £35 a year road tax

1.2 is because it is big enough engine wise for her, insurance isnt an issue shes 30, 10yrs+ NCB, no interest in cars at all except getting from A to B.

Yes, very possible can get 56's also I think.
Not sure you'd get an 06 plate within budget, but I've only ever looked at SRi and diesel models.
