surely you should be looking at getting the bottom end strengthened and balanced first?

why would you want more compression on n/a engine, thought it would be useless if not the gain would be small but maybe im wrong

possible. Don't want to go too much though. Starts messing up timing marks etc. Also piston to head clearance to be checked as pistons will protrude higher etc.

also gotta check head studs don't bottom out. Also if you deck it too much can affect the strength of the block

its not going to be a standard engine he's putting throttle bodies on it iirc

hence if you're going the body route may as well get some pistons ect. high comp with no messing about with the block
