Budget and throttle bodies do not go together.
Budget and Carbs however?????
But if you bring inthe word "budget" and "engine tuning" your never going to get a really good gain in power.

speaking from experience you will need a after market ecu anyway to get the best from them.

with bike throttle bodies you will need a standalone to run the coil pack as the the original ecu needs to sense the other sensores on the original manifold to get a spark ect, hence the reason im doing it on my c20xe which you can run a advancable dizzy sytem on it unlike the 16xe

someone on migweb did actually get bike carbs to run on an x16xe but i dont think it was easy nor reliable
so aftermarket is the way to go with your engine
