right have been re decorating my living room and i have been taking my sky box in and out
but my phone was cut off because my bill was not paid because they cancelled my direct debit for no reason
since then my skyhd box hasnt worked upstairs standard boxes still work fine
are the phone and sky connected?

Yes IIRC. Sky needs a phone line connection to know about paying for movies etc I think

I'm sure i've had my HD working without my phone line connected. I'll check it for you later if thats any help.

actually i must have been wrong. sorry but it seems it can't be used without a phone line. i wonder why though.
