i think they do it to wind you up, everyone always says, go through to cancellations and they will give you everything under the sun to keep you, but they dont, they offer you the same as upgrades do,

£49.99 on an 18 month £45 price plan
That's not even close to being a good deal

I tried blagging an early upgarde from O2 today but had no luck. I asked to be put through to retentions and the woman there didn't want to know, worked last year but no luck this time, oh well.

I'm tempted just to end my contract with them and buy a new phone on the same tariff for free...

£35 / month
Free c905
18 month contract
600 minutes
3000 texts
Done it through Carphone Warehouse as a upgrade on my current O2 account (not opening a new one), it's a standard tariff but if you're only paying £15/month then they may ask for payment for the handset.

They could do £15 a month but not with internet usage, which I need. So it's £20 a month for 600 mins 500 texts & unlimited data
+ after a bit of extra moaning I got some credit on my bill, £40 I think it was

retentions always pull through for me, don't ask to be put through to retention though, pretend you want to leave, make them think they are manipulating you, they put you through soon enough.
