Would you say it's quite similar to Mario? In the sense that it's a sort of 3D-2D platformer?

Still in two minds whether to buy this. The level of attention to detail and cusomization looks awesome but I can't help thinking it looks childish and repetitive.

My understanding is that you complete levels on the standard game mode & collect bubbles. These bubbles = rewards in making your sackboy/levels

People's created levels are online for you to play, you collect bubbles from these levels to give you more rewards.

So in theory it's like a platformer with limitless levels? With endless rewards as long as they continue to produce software for it?

Am I close to being right?

pretty much..

in the single player mode you do follow a story, but its quite short, i beat it in about 6 hours..

butt he idea is kinda like mario yea, but the world has a physics engine which is pretty good actually.

there are two types of bubbles, 1 points and the other objects

collect object bubbles so you can use them when making you own level and the points one just give you a higher score at the end.

there are 4 things to complete the game

1. finish story mode
2. finish each level without dying (guna be hard)
3. collect all object bubbles on each level
4. collect every point bubble on each map..

all of the above i have no doubt would take hours and hours, but then you have the create side.

i build a level and ppl love it. its soo good to build one.
