I would recommend a Corsa Sport 1.6 16v on a Corsa forum TBH.

Beemer is a better car imo, 106 is nippy and handles well, but in the right hands even a 318 could produce a good amount of power, and as said also last alot longer!

Id go for the BMW tbh.

BUT,why the 318is??A 325i will be just as cheap on insurance, and just as cheap to run,if not slightly better. The M42 1.8 16v only produces 140bhp and the E36 is a heavy car so itl take alot to pull it.The later M44 1.9 16v isnt any better.
