Since found out the rings are gone, so the car doesnt drive at the minute, starts sometimes though?
I bought the car like this recently off a friend but it’s not practical enough for what I want it for. Drives ok, though could do with tracking. Body is in decent condition but not mint, does have a few little dents, but nothing major. Interior is a little worn but ok.
Good points:
3 owners from new
Car done 60k
Engine done approx. 88k.
Still 1.6 Sport on logbook
New timing belt kit and recent alternator
Lowered 45mm on uprated shocks and springs
Battery in boot
Nearly new front tyres, good rear tyres.
Bad points :
Speedo doesn’t work
Ticks over high (been told this is a sensor?)
Stupidly loud exhaust
Aforementioned splutter/smoke problem
