what does everone think of them? anyone owned one?
im thinking about getting one just want to know a couple of things about them, common faults and other bits of information? bhp, top end, what the suspension standard is like (stiff, soft)

great all round cars in my opinion...
very nippy and handle quite well
i would reccommend them to anyone
standard they are like 126bhp i think, have a look at my 'garage' pics if you like

can pick them up at a good price now do to it been a small car with big engine and costs abit to tax
for a small car they do go well, and very smooth through the gears and that...
plus there nice and easy to work on unlike renault/pegeot, etc

I like them. Tax is quite off putting though.
As standard, I should imagine it's a good all-rounder.

Not bad imo, the engines aren't too bad. My mate has a Scanguage 2 on his Astra Coupé with the Z18XE (same engine) and it said 144bhp one time, but whether that's accurate or not I'm not going to guarantee

ive got a 1.6 16v sport, just fancy something more modern and a bit more poke. the tax on my 1.6 is £201 for a year so the sri is cheaper?

i got 1 had it for 3 months and really like drivin it pretty quick for a small car the suspension is alrite on it its stiff but not as hard as the suspension kits you get which is good
