Put a post up about trying to connect my PS3 online,
Also seeing as i have quite an old PC, my mate is selling his laptop and has offered it to me for £70.
The brand on the laptop just says RW,
It has windows vista
intel pentium
1.70 ghz
588mhz
Memory
Ram 495mb
32 bit operating system
37GB hard drive
DVD CDRW Burner
Wireless connection.
Is this a good buy
As explained in my other PS3 post im not upto date on my PCs, so i know i could use my old plug in modem to connect but if i wanted to use the laptop around the house what would i need , a wireless modem or a router.

You wouldn't want to use vista on that. It would be frustrating at best. Its not a great machine matey, £70 sounds a little steep aswell.

if your just using it to browse the internet yes it will be fine, although get rid of vista and put xp straight on.
i dont think £70 is to bad tbh try for £50 though cheaper the better obviously.

i hardly use the PC tbh, i use it for browsing net and dowloading music every now and then.
My current pc has xp on it, i not familiar with vista at all. and wouldnt know what you would need to even run it. He is getting a new laptop but he installed vista on it before he put it up for sale
My current PC is old
Running XP
Intel celeron processor
700mhz
184 ram
hard drive 9.3 gb
Its ok but dog slow with norton antivirus installed
