is it true that i can keep the bottom half of my engine and plonk a 1.6 8v head on top would it work? would it be easyer to refit the whole engine instead of just the head what else would i need to change on my car? is there any way i could put a 1.6 8v in without having to change anything else? can you guys give me some advice and also tell me which 1.6 8v engines would be best i do not want to fit power stearing or injection just all seams to hard and i heard that a nova 1.6 8v would work

Im not sure about just putting the Head on your Block,As i think it would be Diffrent?It would just be much easier to fit a whole Engine anyhow.

You can either get a E16SE OR C16SE Out of the Nova's and some Astra's.The Engine will go straight in.No need for Shafts,Mounts etc.

In your Case i think a E16SE Would proberly suit your Needs best!

if ya gonna change the engine i would go for the c16xe,c20xe.

change the engine and fule pump and management with them too engines
and maybe upgrade the brakes.

1.6 is the easiest thing to do ever use the same mounts and shaft only need to change your pump. i put a nova gte engine in one of mine. i like it a lot

which 1.6 do you think would be best and would i just have to change the fuel pump and nothing else apart from exhaust sytem

E16SE & C16SE Are both Roughly the same TBH,So it just depends really.

Nope you dont need anyting else,Just Exhaust + Pump

i have a 1.6 nova gsi engine head and block here £150
