Hi

Theres a cable that comes out of the engine loom in the middle of the inlet manifold that is white with two pins on it and is quite long, and i have no idea where it goes to

Im 99% sure mine has a two pin white plug behind the inlet.

egr has 3 wires knock sensors came in 1 2 or 3 wire. if it goes in between 2 and 3 on the inlet id say knock sensor

Is the engine running without it, the cam and crank sensor wires come out somewhere round there dont they? might be well wide of the mark because its been a while since I had one of these, a picture would probably help

No the car will run, ive got the car running for 3 secs cause i havnt yet got the chip and transponder unit but it will fire up for abit , so it cant be the cam or crank sensor wiring, plus both of them are big block connectors this one i have is quite small, i think it maybe the knock sensor
