to be honest, thats a big area to cover with cans and would be near impossible to match the colour personalyl I'd get it done by the pro's

Its going to be sprayed so the colour shouldnt be that much of an imperfection and when you say a big area do you mean there may be lumps and bumps whats the downfall there?

i think he means like the surface area off the bonnet itself? as thats quite big so the canned paint wont get the correct colour to the body of the car itself??

erm well it depends if you prep it properly? as that is the main thing when it comes to ratlle can spraying any body parts/plastics etc

Ill use 80 sandpaper to just enable to the primer to attach to the bonnet give it two coats leave it a day then give it 3 coats of the colour then leave it a day then laquer with 2 coats in between coats of primier ill sand and in between the coats of the colour then apply the laquer after last coat of colour but dont sand the last coat yeah lol

to be honest mate you will be wasteing your time as it will not look the best at all, also depends on how fussy you are with your car, if you spend most of your money on it, dont bodge it as it will look crap. alternivley get some one to spay it proply it will cost bout 80-100 but it will look better than tin cans,

it would cost about the same to get it done at a bodyshop by the time youve bought enough primer,paint and laquer to do a bonnet bud,just do it right
