...isn't that bad acutally.
The car itself is horrible, but the toys, touchscreen, cd changer, massive comfy seats and american arm rest with McDonalds cup holder at the end is pretty impressive.
It also parks itself - but you can't see a thing out of the back
Took it for a little drive (got one on 5 day test), it doesn't hang around
OK it's not my car quick, but it pulls quite well up to 80 and cruises nicely averaging 48MPG
A little impressed tbh

But 48mpg he might as well get a 520d or something.
Plus people will think your dad is proper tight. Good job you're not still at school getting dropped off every day.

Deano, you've got to understand a 520d would cost him £340 a month company car tax.
This is costing him £140.
£200 a month is a fair chunk of mortgage (if he had one)

It's an awful looking thing outside, cabins a nice quiet place to be, seats are like armchairs.
He doesn't want fun

What about a 118d with stop start technology? £35 tax per year, that must be cheap for him.
Surely there is a difference between saving £200 and enjoying the mammoth miles he does every year?!

The thing is, it's better pn the motorway than a 118d or a Golf TDi.
Both have some rather funky wind noise going on

My mate had the choice of a Prius or a Punto as a courtesy car so he took the Prius 'cos he didnt know what one was.
Its a ballache to drive, if you put the fob in and press the accelerator a few times it starts, the handbrake pisses me off.
The only thing i like is if you take the wheel trimes off, they look like 5 stud Cesaro's in anthricite

It's a peice of piss to start.
Key in, foot on brake, press start.
Then move the shifter to R or D and away you go.
The old ones were slighty more difficult to start I think

I'll take a Golf TDi any day.
Can be a touch windy, but stick the radio on and cruise at 60mpg
