Right, had a ps3 for ages, been using it fine through my phillips hd tv using hdmi cable etc. Now on my new samsung TV (which i was told had a "game mode") i cant get it to work.
Its almost like it doesnt support the HD but it defo does!
Its really bugging me, and i have also lost the receipt but it was from currys and i will go find the model number in a sec.
Any ideas? Thanks!!!

press source a few times and it should bring up the HDMI channel.
game mode is in the picture settings. just changes the colour and contrast to better suit games and web pages

Thanks Andy, i need to try that!
Do you know if the TV adjusts to the PS3's settings? Pic quality etc?
Yeah matty, you can select the HDMI (1 2 or 3) but i thought GAME MODE would have been easier to select.. Like a button?

Got the very same tv and mine works fine with my PS3 mate. Tbh, I don't use game mode. Just using the HDMI channel with the correct settings on the PS3 is awesome.

Agreed, I only bought the ps3 of a mate yesterday and he had it on a non hd TV so it obviously configured itself to them settings so I had to reset it then it worked fine, love it now, its amazing on our 52 '' LG.

Game Mode is a waste of time in my opinion, it's just a gimicky feature.
It's not selectable by a button, you have to go into the setup menus to switch it on/off.
I never use it and my PS3 still looks ace.
