Do they use the same mounts? I am very tempted to do this!!
What else would it take?

No you will need a 2.0 conversion mount and gear box spacer, also you will need an mpi fuel pump, some corsa gsi 22 spline drive shafts and some mk2 1.6 cavvy inner cvs

you would also need corsa GSI (22 spline) driveshafts with modified big block inner cv's, this will enable you to keep standard hubs or you can use the 2.0 driveshafts with a hub conversion.

Hmm I thought it'd be easier than a 16v, how much cash are we normally looking at to complete this conversion (parts wise, I can sort the rest).

yer as B3KAN says lol. if you cant get hold of mk2 1.6 cavvy cv's try chris astley motorsport who sell the modified cv's. we just built a c25xe v6 corsa with 3.0 cams and used the chris astley cv's and corsa GSI 22 spline driveshafts. worked a treat

Cheers for the help, I never realised the 8v used the same mounts as the 16v!
