So, as of the 1st of december VAT is to be dropped to 15%.. But at the same the government are to add 2p/litre to fuel duty so what you will save will be offset by the new duty and when the VAT rate goes back up we'll all get bitten..

And whats worse is they are going to add ANOTHER 3p on duty in the near future:

Bunch of C***S.

Not to mention the rise in National insurance

And raise tax on fuel, alchole and fags to cover the drop in VAT.

Labour = Government = Scum.

But on a good note, 90.9p on fuel last night, bike tank has gone from £23 back down to £17-£18 to fill up again.

so 30p of the price of fuel has just been knocked off. And you still find a reason to complain.

There is always going to be a demand for fuel so people will pay what ever the cost IMO.

If you dont like the UK.....

Fuel isn't to do with the government though. Fuel is do do with oil companies charging + our governments stupid high tax which results in the overall price.

Oil has come down in price hence fuel has. Oil WILL go back up, as will fuel prices.

As for just leaving the UK, yeah sure, its THAT easy isn't it

Exactly the problem.

Where..

Aus - 6 hour flight to get anywhere else.
NZ - 5 hr flight top get to Aus...
Europe - Most hate the english, new language to learn.
America - Full of Americans, hard to get in, insane taxes and no job security
Canada - Possibly? But not much work.
South Americas - Yeah right, i'd like to live.
China/Japan - Very hard language, insane prices.
Russia - See South America
India - Not for me...

etc etc
Everywhere seems much better, till you look at what the country does/what you need to give the country. UK isn't so bad, just the weather, and dumb governments.

The only real problems are the slack immigration laws, and the cost of living.

IMO of course.

That#s exactly the reason why I took up Spanish and am now pretty much fluent. As for them hating the english, just the fact that you speak the language as opposed to turning up and being an ignorant bastard, already means quite alot. Europe could be an amazing melting pot, just the british refuse to do any melting.

If they went bout for a meal with the family, they would save what £1 at most??

I dont think familys are going to turn around and go lets go out for a meal thats going to cost £51 because if we had gone before the vat cut it would have cost £51
