Long story short, i got a £50 fine for not being parked properly about 6 weeks ago.

Threw the ticket to fuck, got a letter demanding £100 within 28 days or they'll take me to court/send bailiffs whatever (Dont think they can send bailiffs to me tho scottish law ???)

Basically my starter was fucked so i parked on a slope just next to a space so i could bump start the car with a little roll.

Should i ignore it, or write to them explaining myself and hope that they are in the festive spirit ?

Cheers

TBH the guy dishing out the tickets looked like he was a member of the 'care in the community'.

A mate got a similar ticket over a year ago and just ignored it, why the fuck should i pay them £50 of my hard earneds, which has now become £100 cunts.

It's the amount for being a couple of inches out of line, so petty, money grabbing bastards IMO.

But tbh, i live on pay and display streets and the number of people that throw PCN tickets away is funny.
God knows why they do it, but when they have to pay the £60 instead of £30 i bet they also cry.

DO NOT PAY..

Do not write to them either, they cant take you to court unless they can prove who was driving the car at the time of the offence and since they have no powers to require you to provide this info they can't do a thing.

They make their money through nievity (s) and bullying

If it's a private company who issued the ticket then your not bound by law to pay up.

only the council owned car parks can make you pay.

You can ignore it. They make their money by people who don't know the law.
