Hi just wondering if it is at all possible to keep 14inch wheels if i put 2ltr brakes on? cause i like how my car site and dont really want to put 15s on, but would like bigger brakes?

2LT brakes will fit behind 14" yes, i even learnt that one today

As said above, they are close, but they clear.

only certain 14's fit, i know when i was refurbing my wheels i borrowed some wheels of matt on here, and 2 14's wouldnt fit over them but the other 2 would.



Drivers side scrapped a touch on the caliper.

Is that because some 14inch alloys are bigger than other 14inch alloys Matt?

some are bigger on the inside than others.

How big are 2.0 brakes because ive got some brakes of a 1.6 corsa sport and the caliper nearly touched my sport alloys, so I wouldn't think they would fit.

The radius is the same it's just the thickness of the 2LT is thicker than the 1.6

Could file the caliper a slight bit i guess......

think the discs might be same size if i remember just bigger calipers
red ones are off an XE the black ones are 1.6

3 spoke sports (which are 14s) allow big brakes i understand

The disc is the same size but the caliper and width of the disc is bigger

Yes, See pics in my garage.

I had 14" 3 spokes on the corsa with 2.0 brakes.
