i got a stupid sound coming from a belt on the drivers side at the bottom, what is it?
my cars got air con a power steering dno weather its any of them:S thanks

best thing to do is take off the pas,air con and alternator belt (the 1 belt does all three) and start it up if the noise has gone then it not in with the cam belt if the noise is there then i could be cam belt rollers or water pump

Mine does this, but stops once warm.

Mine started doing this last night, put it down to the cold weather but did it again when I started it today, goes when warm but yeah mine sounds like a whirring belt noise, not really a squeal, although @ MOT I had coolant on sump as an advisory, tester said water pump could be going so it could be linked to that, does lose tinnnnyyyyy bit of water over a month, but nothing to worry about.
However engine noises scare me into expensive bills lol, will have to get someone take a look at it.

i think its my air con that making the noise might just stick a shorter belt on and get rid of the air con
