I want one for my wall, thinking about 42-46 inch, but I'm not really up on them. I know a good site that has a clearence bit that sells exdisplay from their shops and you can get some major deals, but i'm not up on what the differences are. only thing I know is that 1080p is a good start, but what other things is there to look out for?

Like you already mentioned
1080p is the best to go for.
Look for 100Hz and the best contrast ratio you can find, and obviously the more inputs the better.
Which site are you looking at?

Careful if its an ex display plasma.
If the same thing was displayed on the tv for the duration of the display, then it'll be burned into the screen.

As above.
Load both a white image, and then a black image on the plasma and look for screen burn before buying a plasma.
