Hello,
I'm an absolute expert, and I'm shithot at 08.
So I got 09 yesterday and I have to start again. I have the basics but has anyone noticed how much easier it is to get into goal scoring positions on 09? When you run down the wing and cut inside it's quite easy to get into the box, where as on 08 it would take loads of passes to even get close to a goal scoring position.
Defending is harder on 09 as well, I used to be an expert at intercepting passes and breaking up play.
What are other peoples opinions, I didn't like 08 when I first got it but I'm sure 09 will be the same and I'll love it in time.

I love it. You can actually take on someone unlike the older ones  The only drawback is on Be A Pro. I'm playing on Legendary skill level. The opposition are brilliant, yet your team is shite  Would have been better if everyone improved! Apart from that, can't really grumble.

I used to love how hard it was moving players into position to score, now you just charge full pelt and hope you don't get tackled.
It's a good game, going to take some getting used to again.

I have another gripe, players like Ronaldo etc are FAR to good. Fucking crap IMO

I can't really make my mind up tbh. I hate the difficulty levels. If I stay on one it's too easy, next one up is too hard, I need an in between!
I like the small touches but I don't think the game is that different from 08.

Only if you play as Burnley otherwise it's impossible.
I played a lad yesterday as Ipswich against Man Utd, on FIFA08 it was good because you could move your player into position to block off his runs and use another player to tackle, now you can't get near the the best players, totally unrealistic.

It's to easy as well, all you have to do is put someone up from like Agbonlahor and you just play through balls all the time.
EA really have let themselves down with this version, it's more like an arcade game now.

Maybe its because i only ever played Evo before Fifa but i find it quite difficult compared to Evo.
I have 09 and i play on World Class, and i can never seem to run past people, i find it extremely easy to tackle on the game, makes the game very pinball esque, maybe its because i don't know how to dribble properly yet.
I also haven't got 100% used to shooting on it, i usually have to have a one on one and lob keeper lol, don't think i've scored one long range effort yet

I prefer to put in last ditch tackles to scoring goals, this version brings my piss to a boil.
I'd rather have a buffalo take a diarrhoea dump in my ear than play this steaming pile of turd.
