Does anyone know how i can take my standard headlights apart to paint my chrome insert to make diy depos??

im sure there was a tutorial on here on how to do it but i cant find it anywhere

Headlight in oven, prise back off carefully, veyr very patiently and slowly. Paint part. Back together, and tiger seal the gap, make it water tight...stand back and admire.

Yeah....if you have one, some people have used a hairdryer...oven is the easiest way in my previous experience.

how long do i put it in the oven for mate and what kind of paint do i use?

Not for too long

I did for a few minutes, kept taking it out to see if the glue had started melting
it got to a good point and i just peeled it gently and it came over super easy.

Main advice is be very gentle and patient, wont come of straight away easily.

I might have some depo inards in my loft

how hot does the oven need to be mate? just wondering os this mite be a good job for tomorrow lol

If i can find em, the cost of me putting them in a box and sending them to you Probably 7 or 8 quid

I will have a look tonight.

Urm.....i cant really remember the temp i had it at, just turned it on and threw them in, i dont think its as precise as a cake

does spraying the chrome internals back affect the beam at all?
