FFS what a joke.
Hampshire police are way over the fuckin top anyway.
My bro-in-law went down to Soton last Saturday, and like a dikhead he bought a jumior ticket (dispite bein 21) so they didn't let him in.... police come over and he started ranting so inevitably they locked him up. That I can agree with.
They took him to the police station, took his phone, train ticket etc and locked him up. He had a ticket for the 6:30 return train (which cost him £46) and they held him till 8:30pm so he missed his last train.
His brother and his mates waited for him so that was 4 wasted train tickets. Had to book in a hotel for the night and pay £80 to get home the following morning.
All in all it's set him back about £220.
Instead of giving him the standard drunkedn disorderly fine they are making him travel back down to court on the 18th because he's well known for travelling away with Wednesday.
That's not the best bit....because he was arrested under Section 5 at football he's now banned from attending any match.
Piggies played at home last night and he wisely decided to work instead. Coppers saw his brother goin into the game and rushed over to his seat and asked where his bro was, when he said he was at work they sent 2 coppers to his work to check he was there!
Total over-reaction in the first place by the Hampshire plod and fucked him up royally!

Exactly, no wonder the atmosphere is pish. There will be two games at Ibrox this year with a good atmosphere. Both will be against Celtic and after both there will be outrage at something.
I don't care what opposing fans sing towards me or the team I support, I have always been of the attitude that if you follow football regularly you should be thick skinned enough to put up with the banter.
